Bio

Bryan Belisle currently serves as Head Coach of the 7th and 8th grade team and as Director of Football for the South Burlington Dolphins program. A former Dolphins quarterback (1981–1985) and standout with the South Burlington High School Rebels, Bryan’s connection to the game—and to the community—runs deep.

He previously coached with the Dolphins from 2000 to 2013, rising from quarterbacks coach to Associate Head Coach of the 7th and 8th grade team by 2009. He later served as Assistant Defensive Coordinator for the Plattsburgh North Stars from 2014 to 2016 before returning home to the Dolphins in 2022.

Since his return, Bryan has led the program as Head Coach and Director of Football, guiding both the varsity and 7th/8th grade teams while strengthening the structure, culture, and growth of the organization. From 2022 through today, he continues to oversee and lead all aspects of the football program, expanding participation and reinforcing a standard built on discipline, development, and pride in the Dolphins tradition.

Bryan comes from a true football family. He is the son of longtime Dolphins defensive coordinator Richard E. Belisle and longtime team videographer Nancy Belisle, and the father of former Dolphins quarterback, strong safety, and defensive captain Brianna Belisle. His experience spans generations of the program, giving him a broad and instinctive understanding of the game, with particular focus on linebackers and the secondary.

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Bryan lives in South Burlington with his wife, Cindy Parker Belisle, and their daughters, Brianna and Chelsi.
